The smartest lion
Do you think the lions are not clever? They are.
One day I went to travel without my father and mother.
Suddenly a lion appeared opposite me.
I tried to run and run, but fell down.
The lion reached me and said, «Are you OK, darling?»
I answered, «No, my leg hurts».
«I’ll cure you,» said the lion and cured me.
I said goodbye to the lion and went home.
The moral of the fable is that sometimes people seem to be bad-natured but in fact they are kind.
